This week I’ve reminded myself to keep things simple in my life. Then, I thought about what is the meaning of life, for me, right now.
I might change my mind later.
I hope you can keep things as simple as you want them to be too.
Enjoy the letter.

~ Leashed ~
You’re putting your heart on a leash Questioning whether it’ll ever find peace You’re trying to achieve All of your goals But you’ll realise your dreams When you let go of control You’re trying to put All the pieces together To get what you want For ever and ever And you’re scared of pain And you protect your soul But all that remains Is letting go of control
~ Answer ~
One day you will have to face The things you already know The fact that you still love me And I pretend I don’t know And how I cannot love you Not in the same way The answer is already with you A blink of an eye away
~ Devoured ~
Please come back Come back to yourself The one I’ve seen making love With the universe When all the stars and galaxies In your brain Were sucked into the black hole Inside your heart Devouring all that existed Into infinite space Creating unity from everything Creating infinity from something Creating life from nothing
Song pick
I found Hermanos Gutiérrez only a bit more than a year ago and fell in love immediately. I’ll share more from them for sure, but I’d recommend you go ahead and discover all their music, vibes are 👌 great for creative flow.
Spontaneous reflection on life
Lately more than usual I found myself contemplating on what is going on in my life and in those of the people around me. Often reminded that seems like nobody really has a clue about what to do.
I’m 100% sure, that as solid as your life might (seems to) be, there is at least one thing you are questioning if it could or should be different. If you don’t, please tell me.
In the end, I believe it all goes down to whatever balance we have between discipline and freedom, control and trust, order and chaos. And individually, it goes down to the type of life you’re happy to, and choose to, live, given that there’s no one single situation where we can have everything, we have to choose.
So one night this week, smiling at the extremely diverse set of experiences I had and am having recently, I started writing this (it can be a bit metaphysical):
The meaning of life is to experience anything we can imagine and to enrich the range of experiences that we can enjoy and from which we can learn. Ultimately is to experience everything that we are and learn everything that we are not. If we believe that we are both unique and everything at the same time, then it means we are the infinite possibilities of existence, as in the same way in which we are just one of the possibilities, we are also all the possibilities together, but we can’t be all the other possibilities because, in fact, there’s no other. That’s the paradox of life.
And then added this on how I feel about poetry
And so the poet is the explorer going through the forests of the most ancient experiences. Feeding his curiosity not only with research and observation, but also with expeditions and camping stations, night fires and starred skies, dark nights and nothingness in sight, the silence of the darkness and the noise of the unknown, a whisper coming from the shades holding the secret of the light in his soul. And as he brings back treasures for everyone to see, some will be inspired to go find more and some will enjoy it passing by, bored or amused, in a museum.
Well I told you was spontaneous!
