~ Sand ~

I rolled into waves
Trying to forgive my sins
Laid under the sun
Closed eyes
Sinking within

Taking life in
From all that was there
A moment
Finally
Breathing fresh air

Ready to leave
I’m going back home
I feel as if I
I am not alone

In front of the mirror
I see what has been
With my eyes and my hands
I wash you
Off my skin

~ Forgotten ~

The words we spoke will exist forever
The words we muted are lost
We were creating a world together
But forgot what we cared for the most

Our eyes started looking away
Our thoughts clouded our hearts
But our souls continued to play
Even if now we’re apart

~ 8th Feb 2020 ~

Life’s worst thing
Is to live in regret

Regret nothing
Until the last sunset
