Pre-launch of a new poetry collection
This is my take on NFT poetry and the launch of two projects: this collection of 1001 pieces and a physical project coming afterwards.
Hi,
I’ve been working behind the scenes in the last few weeks to prepare two big projects.
One is an NFTs collection of digital poetry. The other will be a physical art project.
Inspired by the works of other poets in the digital sphere and my past experience designing in tech, I desired to explore my take on this new way of creating.
If you're not familiar with the topic, I wrote about NFTs a few weeks ago.
In the last year lot had happened for poetry in the NFT scene
Sasha Stiles released the first book co-authored with AI and keeps creating art at the intersection of poetry and technology, using tech and AI to create new forms of experiencing art.
Arch Hades wrote a 648-line rhyming, narrative poem, Arcadia, that got sold for $525,000 at Christie’s auction house as an NFT in the form of a nine-minute-long abstract animation, soundtracked with ASMR-electronic music.
Ana Maria Caballero together with TheVerseVerse collective (which also includes Stiles) keeps exploring and releasing new ways to create and share poetry, challenging the concept of “poetry = art” and ownership of individual poems.
The collection: 1001 Things About Us
This collection called “1001 Things About Us” it’s a series of 1001 poems inspired by love, beauty and the causality of what just a few words can create if mixed in different ways.
The collection will be launched with a pre-sale for paying subscribers and then open to the public.
Besides the use of technology to create poetry and art, NFTs really is great a way to become a patron and an investor in my art and future projects and will link you to my production for as long as you will own one of these pieces.
