Welcome to Poetic Letters

I‘m Andrea, and I’m glad this unique series of events just made your beautiful eyes land in here!

Poetic Letters is a publication about poetry, art, beauty and life.

Is an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the small things. A moment to explore what it feels to feel the way you feel as you’re experiencing every piece of each letter.

Regularly, I will share poems, stories about me, photos, music and books, some previews of my upcoming projects, NFTs releases, creative practices and much more!

Who am I?

I’m Andrea, I’m from Italy but lived abroad for a while and currently calling Bali home.

In January 2020 I started writing poetry after I had a vision, twice. I was in Bali, and I was definitely not a writer.

Until then, my main focus was on digital design, branding and strategy for agencies and startups.

I did that for more than 10 years. It was great *and* got me to a point where I was looking for something different.

I started exploring yoga, meditation and breathwork. During my first two sessions with my breathwork teacher, I experienced two visions of myself writing. Just in the span of a month time. I had no idea what to do about it, but felt I could not overlook these unique experiences.

So the next day I started writing poetry.

I sat down with my pen and paper and wrote a first poem.

I thought it was all right… I liked it!

I began writing daily, for weeks and months, writing in cafes, beaches, bars or on the side of the roads in Bali. Sometimes I was looking for inspiration and sometimes it was just coming from nowhere.

I have not stopped since. By now I wrote hundreds of poems, organised and performed at dozens of events and started an artist community in Bali with a couple of friends.

I’m working on an art book, I create fine-art film photography, sometimes I paint and I regularly practice using a mix of meditation, breathwork and writing.

Now I’m doing these letters to share more of my art with you, for many different reasons.

There will always be free content and some content only for paying subscribers.

Why am I doing this?

In the end, right now really my goal is to seek, see and create BEAUTY.

Finding love in every action I am taking and sharing that back once I’m full of it.

Noticing what is deteriorating my energy and making me tired and distracted, so I can focus back on my goal. Trusting it is what helps others the most.

I am grateful for all of you reading and experiencing what I’m sharing with you. My intention is firstly to create something beautiful or at least unique, as beauty ultimately lies in your own eyes and souls, and secondly to inspire you to find your own, and maybe I’ll find it beautiful too.

Thank you for reading this.

Andrea
